Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College is an educational establishment that is located at Sirajganj. On 01 January, 2005, it was first put into operation.
In 2005, Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College was founded, following the revered wish of the great saint. This college’s academic, multidisciplinary hospital is a non-profit endeavor and is furnished in ways not yet found in other hospitals in Bangladesh.
Enayetpur is located in the Sirajganj district, 147 kilometers from Dhaka, the capital, and 22.5 kilometers from the Jamuna Bridge, which connects the northern and southern regions of the nation. Under the Society Act of the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, the teaching hospital of the college Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital is authorized to operate.
This college is associated with Rajshahi University for MBBS degrees and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Shahbag, Dhaka, for postgraduate degrees. The Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council’s regulations govern the course and curriculum (BM&DC). All professional MBBS examinations administered by Rajshahi University are held at the institute.
With its ninth batch of MBBS students, the organization Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital is effectively carrying out its educational initiatives. The present curriculum for the MBBS program has been authorized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC). The courses are being taught by skilled professors in pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical fields. This is the only private college in the nation with an expansive campus in a wholly rural location and an echo-friendly academic environment. The college has a high-tech teaching hospital with 500 (five hundred) beds that offers all medical services.
Our facility also includes a very high grade catheterization lab for invasive cardiology run by renowned cardiac surgeons and cardiologists. We also have a center of excellence for the care and treatment of cancer patients, to which a large number of patients are referred from throughout the nation because the facility is now acknowledged as a referral hospital at both the national and international levels.
