Welcome to Barguna Zilla School. Barguna Zilla School is one of the best schools in the southern part of Bangladesh. Mainly the historical Barguna Zilla School was founded by Mr. Ramzan Ali Akon along with local elite persons named Barguna M.E.School (Barguna Middle English School) in 1927 and he himself became the first Headmaster. In 1931 the school established as Junior School.In 1934 a renowned Headmaster Mr. Abdul Mazid Miah B.A. B.T. was appointed as Headmaster. In 1938 The School was upgraded as High School. In 1970 The School was brought under Govt. Management and later got the name Barguna Zilla School. Now it is considered as the best school in Barguna district.
