WELCOME TO SREERAMPUR SECONDARY SCHOOL, PATUAKHALI Sreerampur secondary school is one of the most renowned and well-known school in Patuakhali District. The school started with the name of “Maktob & Tool” In 1885. In 1900 the January of the school as Sreerampur is begun under middle bangle. Then the commencement of “Middle English (ME)” had been launched in 1910. From 1943 the school was used as the center of examination of class four. This historical school had been upgraded as Sreerampur junior high school in 1952 to 1979. It achieved approval of the then authority as Sreerampur junior high school. The next approval to launche 9 & 10 came in 1973 with the named as Sreerampur Secondary School. This historical school was founded by an education loving man, Md. Hafij Mia along with elites of this locality. In 1971 on the propose of establishing school complex, a piece of land was donated by Mr. Golam Mortuza, Abu Reza Mia, Ali Reza Mia, Rezul Karim Mia, Fazlul Haque Mia, Wahiduzzaman Mia and Mother Uddin Ahamed. The First Headmaster then known as “First Guru” was Mr. Bonomali Datta. The school came under Government management on 1 June, 1985. At present it is regarded as the most potential and standard school in Patuakhali District.
