The Bheramara Upazilla under the district of Kushtia is well-Known as the place of educational and culture development. Before the establishment of this college, as there existed only one college in this Upazilla, many insolvent guardians of the poor and brilliant students had to undergo great sufferings to send their children to the far-off place for higher education, after their passing the S.S.C exam. Realizing this extreme situation, some votaries of education namely Prof. Amirul Islam, Md. Abdur Rashid Mazumdar, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Waheduzzaman along with some others highly educated and enthusiastic youths, some leading personalities such as Selina Shahid former (Local MP) and Prof. Shohidul Islam(former Upazilla Chairman, Bheramara) with a noble aim to spread the light of education among children of our local people, made concerted efforts to establish this college and it started functioning in a rented house in 1994. After words, the place of the born college was shifted to (the middle place between Nawdapara and Farkprur) some deserted and dilapidated old building of the PDB, at the colony-1, touching the northern side of the hospital road, and standing on 1.75 acres of land, acquired through permanent lease. Then this college got approved by the jessore board on 01 july 1995 and it began to be run in a captivating and charging environment. In course of time, this college got affiliated with national University on 16 march 1999 and all academic activities have been being executed properly, peacefully and creditably.
