Government-run Faridpur Medical College (FMC), which was founded in 1992, is a medical institution in Bangladesh. It lies in Faridpur Town, the administrative center for the Faridpur District. It is a constituent institution of the University of Dhaka.
A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree is available after completing a five-year course of study there. All graduates are required to do a one-year internship after graduation. The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council accepts the degree. Additionally, it provides a two-year postgraduate degree in orthopedics known as the D-Ortho (Diploma in Orthopedics) programme.
Faridpur Medical College Hospital, which has 500 beds, is connected to the college (FMCH). The official publication of FMC is the Faridpur Medical College Journal (FMCJ).
