The School of Business at NEUB offers Masters and Bachelors degree in Business Administration having a concentration in the area of Accounting and Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Management, Banking and Insurance, Finance, Marketing and Management Information Systems. The prime goal of the School is to provide students with an understanding of the functioning of business from a theoretical, practical, and managerial perspective.
The School of Business is the pioneer and largest one of North East University Bangladesh. Under the School of Business, the Department of Business Administration offers BBA, MBA and EMBA programs. The core courses develop the foundation in the business area, the general education courses broaden their knowledge base in other areas, and the concentration courses provide students in-depth knowledge in the area in which the student specializes.
Research and teaching are the prime objectives of this department. The curriculum encourages students to sharpen their analytical and communication skills, placing a balanced emphasis on qualitative and quantitative approaches. Specialized and interdisciplinary courses focus on building leadership abilities, which will allow future managers to operate effectively in an increasingly growing global and technologically advanced marketplace.
The Department of Business Administration has qualified and dedicated faculty members. Most of the faculty members have Ph.D. or MBA or MS from reputed Universities at home and abroad with long experience of teaching at the university. The School has also been hiring business executives from the corporate world to teach real-life cases to students.
