Department of Agroforestry and Environment of HSTU offers undergraduate courses of Agroforestry and Environment at B.Sc. Ag. (Hons) level and offers MS and Ph.D. Degrees. Beside these, various researches on the field of Agroforestry and Environmental Sciences are conducted every year in this Department. The terms agroforestry covers a variety of land-use systems combining forestry with agriculture on the same piece of land. Agriculture and forestry were considered before as two distinct areas but these practices are now considered complementary. It is a complex applied science requiring knowledge of the environment, agriculture, forestry, and people. We invite both national and international students and researchers to admit in this Department for the world-class research. We are committed to ensuring all possible facilities for the students.
