Welcome to Galachipa Girl’s Secondary School ‘‘Galachipa Girl’s Secondary School” is one of the best and the biggest schools in the district of Patuakhali . It is the first secondary school founded at Galachipa for female education. It stands at the heart of Glachipa municipality sadar under Patuakhali district . It was established in 1961 . The then Sub- Registrar, a government employee, took initiative to establish this school with the help of local elites, and finally the school was established on the land of 3.72 acres . The donors of the land are Late Sachi Nandan Roy, Late Rajendra Nath, Late Shamakanto Nandi and others . The first Headmaster of this school was Mr. Sattay Ranjan Das . The main academic building was constructed in 1968 . Then, after the cyclone of 1970, another academic building was constructed and gave an L-shape to the main building. The campus is surrounded by a high boundary wall which ensures a safe, fresh airy and congenial atmosphere. The teachers of this school are highly educated and well trained especially in the method of creative questions. The present Headmaster, Mr. Abdul Halim, is an experienced administrator. The managing committee is very strong and skilled. So the quality of the education is very high and excellent here.
