IT BEGAN AS A MYNOR SCHOOL AND ONLY CLASS SIX WAS OPENED IN 1953. AT THE ESTABLISHED YEAR IN 1955,SIX TO TEN CLASSES WERE OPENED HERE.IN 1958, EIGHT STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE MARTICULATION EXAM UNDER DHAKA BOARD,FOUR OF THEM PASSED IN THIS EXAM BEING PLACED IN THE 2ND DEVISION. IN 1960, A STUDENT NAMED NAZRUL HAD PASSED IN THE FIRST DIVISION FROM THIS SCHOOL. FROM THIS YEAR, A GOOD NUMBER OF STUDENTS BEING PASSED IN THE IN THE FIRST DIVISION EVERY YEAR. ABDUL HADHI TALUKDER,RAGISTER OF DHAKA UNUVERSITY, WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THIS SCHOOL IN SEVERAL TIMES. IN 1970 A DEVASTATING CYCLONE MADE A HUGE LOSS OF THIS SCHOOL.
