Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College is an educational establishment that is located at Bogra. On 01 January, 1992, it was first put into operation.
In 1992, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College was founded. It originally began as a medical college that worked in conjunction with Mohammad Ali Hospital in Bogra. On the outskirts of Bogra city, next to the Dhaka-Rangpur highway, a brand-new hospital and college campus were built in 2006. They were dedicated in honor of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, who was born in Bogra. The new campus in Silimpur began its journey on August 31, 2006. Previously, a national exam for admission to the nation’s public medical colleges gave roughly 50 students the opportunity to study there each year. The numbers rose to roughly 150 starting in 2005.
