Sayedkati Union Islamia College Established on: 2002 College Code: 2107 Stipend Code No:1061017 EIIN No: 100660 Sayedkati Union Islamia college in one of the educational institution in Sayedkati Union of Banaripara Upazila. It is situated on the west bank of Sandha River. By the inspiration of the village Mosjidbari of Sayedkati , the Freedom Fighter Mr.Md.Fazlur Rahaman and the Educationist Md. Zahidul Haque as well as the sincere effortess of all classes people of Sayedkati Union, the College was established in 2002. This institution is situated in the combination of Naleshri to Mosjidbari , Talaprosad and Awar road in Mosjidbari, Korfakor mouza.During the Chairman of Barisal Education Board physically visited the College on 22/10/2003. Then the Chairman sent the all information of this institution of the Education Ministry on 02/12/2003. According to the decision of the Government of People Republic of Bangladesh Education Ministry sent a letter to the Board on 30/03/2004 regarding the allotment of the student admission of 2003-2004 education session. According to the letter of the Ministry, Barisal Education Board provides the permission of student in Humanities and Business Studies group on 01/04/2004. The institution has been going on nicely from that to teill today. The purpose of providing academic recognition Barisal Education Board with inspection sent the all papers to the Ministry on 02/04/2009. The Education Ministry provides the permission to Barisal Education Board on 31/05/2009 to give the academic recognition. And Barisal Education Board provides the academic recognition on 10/06/2009. On the basis of percentage of passing , in the public examination this college achieves the place of 10th in 2008 in Barisal Education Board. Every year many students have passed in the public examination with good result from this institution. At present about 250 students are studying as well as 13 teachers and 6 staffs are serving in this institution. We largely expect the assistance and cooperation from all classes’ people as well as Government and non- Government officer for all kinds of enrichment and achieving reputation of this institution.
