Rangamati Medical College is an educational establishment that is located at Rangamati . On 01 January, 2014, it was first put into operation.
The 29th Government medical college in Bangladesh is Rangamati Medical College (R m MC). started in 2014, the same year that the first group of students were admitted. Previously, on January 10, 2015, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina performed the inauguration. The institution was established with the intention of providing cutting-edge medical care to the residents of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The facility is accredited by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and linked with the University of Chittagong (BMDC).
The college is located in the Rangamati neighborhood. Bangladesh’s largest district, Rangamati, is located in the southeast of the country, close to the Indian border. Currently, the institution is operating out of a temporary site located on the grounds of Rangamati General Hospital. For academic purposes, we have a separate facility, and the dorms for male and female students are segregated. The process of creating a permanent campus is ongoing. The Directorate General of Health Services and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will oversee the project director overseeing the development of the institute. The institution’s amenities are constantly being improved.
