Mugda Medical College is an educational establishment that is located at Dhaka. On 01 January, 2015, it was first put into operation.
A recently created public medical college is located within the Dhaka Metropolitan area. Its name is Mugda Medical College. In addition to the Medical College, a general hospital with 500 beds that started building in 2006 is now fully operational. called Mugda Medical College & Hospital in 2015. The first batch of students admitted by this university began their academic adventure in 2015–2016. The Medical College now has 150 students registered, including those from the academic years 2015–2016, 2016–2017, and 2017–2018. The choice to create this medical institution is a timely move in the direction of giving the broader allied population superior services. For the purpose of running academic activities and providing hospital services, 300 teachers were hired. Around 27 clinical departments and 8 preclinical and paraclinical departments are present.
