Institute of Applied Health Sciences is an educational establishment that is located at .
42 students made up the Institute of Applied Health Sciences’ (IAHS) small beginning class on May 13, 1989. It kept operating under the University of Chittagong as an Institute.
After the Private University Act of 1992 went into effect and IAHS became its constituent body under the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) became a private university. Its supporting organization was the Janasheba Foundation, and National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam was chosen by the Honorable Chancellor of the Universities and President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to lead USTC. The Faculty of Medicine has outperformed expectations, and it is a source of pleasure that there are so many international students there now.
