Hizla P.N Secondary School is one of the most reputed school situated at Hizla. It is an old school at Hizla thana. The village of Dhulkhola was the remotest corner from the thana head quarter. Their was river on the way of thana head quarter. The people of dhulkhola were deprived from the life of education. Most of the people were poor and middle classes. Then the local people and Shatghar Zomider wished to established a high school at dhulkhola. Under the leadership of Babu Profullo Nath a meeting was held at dhul khola 02/11/1917. Late Profullo Nath delivered his lecture about education. Present people took a decision to established a high school in order to remove illiteracy from the society. Babu profullo Nath had given commitment to give necessary taka in cash and land as required for making the school house. Local people were pleased for his commitment and school was named after profullo Nath in 1918.
