For this many students lost the opportunity to get themselves admitted into the college. Gazi Shahidullah (a resident of Atra-Gilatila,elected V.P. of B.L. College Chatra Sangsad of 1955 and 1956) took initiatives to found a new college at Daulatpur in 1968. He was helped by a great freedom fighter professor Abu Sufian (Bir protik), the renowned labor leader and trustworthy personality of father of the nation, Gazi Serazul Haque (a resident and formal G.S. of B.L. College Chatra Sangsad), Abdul Mannan (a resident of Deyana), Mirza Nazrul Islam and Shaik Abul Hasan took the initiatives and decided to start a Night College in Muhsin School. But they were greatly divided in their opinions to name the college. A resident of Nababgang of Rajshahi Freedom Fighter Martyred Professor Abu Sufian expressed his opinion to name it Hazi Muhammad Muhsin College. Mirza Ibrahim Hossain, Shaikh Nesaruddin ( formal Chairman), Kazi Soffiuddin, Ali Akbar Biswas, Dr. Abul Kasem, Ali Asraf ( former Chairman), Mina Samsur Rahman also supported him. But Gazi Shahidullah gave his opinion to name it Daulatpur College. As a result two colleges were founded at Daulatpur in 1969. But after the death of freedom fighter Martyred Professor Abu Sufian (Bir protik), the college became guardian less.
