It is a full-fledged college and Viqarunnisa Noon School is affiliated with this college. Viqarunnessa (Noon) Education Foundation [VNEF], registered with the Trust Act of the Government of Bangladesh, manages both Viqarunnisa Noon School & College.
In 1972 a group of 12 visionaries set out to establish an educational institution that would provide children from all walks of life access to a world-class education. They were guided by a firm belief that every child had the right to adequate knowledge, irrespective of their social or economic background. Viqarunnessa Noon School opened its doors in 13 March 1972, with three students at a small building in Viqarunnisa’s home. Viqarunnessa Noon School proved to be the fulfillment of Viqarunnessa’s dream, and Viqarunnisa Noon School & College was established as a schooling section to Viqarunnissa Noon School in 1986. In 1995 it became a college offering Higher Secondary Education (HSC).
