Plant Pathology is a multi-faceted discipline that comprises various subjects. To reflect this diversity, the Graduate Program is organized into the following concentrations:
Plant Pathology
Biology and integrated management of plant disease organisms.
Mycology
Introduction of fungi, general overview of fungi, fungal cell structure.
Molecular Biology of Host-Pathogen Interaction
Analysis of current concepts in the physiology, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology of plant-pathogen interactions.
Undergraduate Opportunities
The Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology undergraduate curriculum focuses broadly on infectious diseases of plants, animals, and humans, and integrates concepts and principles across all major host species.
