The mission of this Department is to excel in providing higher education in the field of Genetics and Biotechnology keeping in view the challenge of the twenty-first century.
Department currently offering four years B.Sc. and one-year M.Sc. program. It also accepts M.Phil. and Ph.D. students.
This Department has been providing students with well-furnished and air-conditioned classrooms and laboratory for a better environment.

We have established a computer laboratory with broadband internet facility. This online facility will certainly facilitate the students to know the latest developments of the genetic engineering technologies and other related matters.
