Department of Farm Structure and Environmental Engineering (FSEE)
The Department of Farm Structure and Environmental Engg is one of the five constituent Departments of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology with the objective of solving civil and environmental engineering related problems in the field of agriculture. Since inception in 1964, this Department was named as Agricultural Engineering and Basic Engineering till early 1989 and then it was changed to “Farm Structure and Environmental Engg” in compliance with the courses taught and degree offered. A good number of Civil and Environmental Engineering courses are taught from this department at undergraduate level towards offering a four-year full-time course for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. The Department offers an MS degree in Farm Structure and Environmental Engg. Moreover, the department has provision for the Ph.D. program. The M.S. program is based on course and research work, while the Ph.D. program is based on research work.
