The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the youngest departments of
Rajshahi University which started its journey in September 2015. This department presently runs four years (eight semesters) B.Sc. Engineering program with an annual intake of 30 undergraduate students. It conducts education and research in four major areas of engineering- Power and Energy, Electronics, Communication, and Computer, with the goal of producing quality graduates who can become leaders in the global arena to serve the society and to perform cutting-edge research. The curriculum for the B.Sc. Engg. (EEE) has been designed to make the program goal-oriented.
EEE is the center of today’s scientific and technological civilization and is present in all aspects of modern life. The future prospects of EEE graduates are very wide and bright. The demand for environmentally friendly power generation, more sophisticated electrical and electronic devices, cheaper and smarter products require world class, electrical engineers. This requirement presents a tremendous amount of job opportunities both at home and abroad for electrical and electronic engineers to choose from.
