The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism started its academic program in 2011. Its aim is to produce well-rounded individuals capable of thinking in an extensive way. Here prevails a congenial atmosphere for carrying out the academic and extracurricular activities. Our academic programs and services are driven by the needs of our community and economy from a global context. We offer a four year integrated BSS (Bachelor of Social Science) honors course divided into eight semesters. After successfully completion of BSS (Hons) course, we also offer the one year MSS (Master of Social Science) program divided into two semesters. Both programs are assessed by the credit point system. We have the plan of offering the M.Phil./Ph.D. program within very short time.
