“Welcome to the Department of Finance, a part of the faculty of Business at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology. The aim of the Department is to provide a concrete understanding of the theoretical and methodological diversity that exists in approaches to accept various financial phenomena, as well as the wide-ranging skills in financial analysis and mathematical techniques. The department offers a four-year BBA program and a two-year MBA program. Our courses provide opportunities for students to learn to think critically and communicate effectively on a wide range of issues in business in general and in finance in particular. We encourage students to further develop their skills of independent learned inquiry, policy analysis and decision making in the context of modern financial issues affecting the real business world and the economy.
Our courses are particularly appropriate for those who want to have an exciting and rewarding career in finance, like- financial analyst, credit analyst, project finance executive, capital expenditure executive and so on. Even our programs are also appropriate for nonfinancial executives who want to reach the peak of the organization hierarchy and for an individual for making a personal financial decision.”
