“Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the significant and prestigious departments of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), which is placed under the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences. It is the desired choice of most of the students for undergraduate study due to the following reasons –
Graduates of CSE, BUBT are working in Government services, Telecommunication Industry, Software Industry and in many other responsible positions throughout the country. They are doing their research work in different academic institutions and in universities both at home and abroad.
Students of CSE of BUBT are successful in their co-curricular activities. CSE BUBT is one of the strongest names in programming contests at both national and international levels.
Department of CSE has a good number of highly qualified full-time faculty members for taking intensive care of each and every student and guiding them in and outside the classroom. At present, the department has 40 full-time faculty members. Moreover, a good number of highly educated, qualified and experienced faculty members of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), University of Dhaka(DU), Jahangirnagar University(JU), University of Chittagong(CU), Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET)and some other professional organizations teach at BUBT as adjunct faculties.”
