The Department of Crop Botany has been offering both undergraduate and graduate programs. The department has major research programs on anatomical aspects of crop plants, various physiological processes under usual and stressful conditions, plant nutrition, ecophysiology of different crops, hormonal regulation of crop growth and development, embryological aspects of fruit development and biochemical and nutritional aspects of fruits and vegetables.
