Army Medical College, Comilla is an educational establishment that is located at Comilla. On 01 January, 2014, it was first put into operation.
The medical education of the country has been constantly improving to keep pace with the worldwide progress of medical science. Bangladesh Army also felt the necessity of possessing a group of energetic, motivated and devoted young professionals to face the global changes happening in the field of medical education and technology in 21st century. With this view; Army Medical College Cumilla (AMCC) has been established at its present location adjacent to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Cumilla by a sanction letter from the Ministry of Health. The college was inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister of People’s Republic of Bangladesh through a video conference on 10 January in 2015. AMCC started its academic journey on 11 January in 2015 with 50 students.
