Army Medical College, Chittagong is an educational establishment that is located at Chattogram. On 01 January, 2014, it was first put into operation.
Bangladesh Army felt the necessity of possessing a group of energetic, motivated and dedicated young professionals to lead the health sector in the 21st century with this view; Army Medical College Chittagong (AMCC) has been established at its temporary location here in Combined Military Hospital by a sanction letter from the Ministry of Health. Total five Army Medical Colleges were inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister of People’s Republic of Bangladesh through a video conference on 10 January 2015. The College started its academic journey on 11 January 2015 with 50 students and 13 faculty members. Location for Permanent College Campus has also been selected near Military Farm. Digital Survey of the area and architectural design of the campus are ongoing and being looks after by CMES.
